Trico manufactures oilfield service tools and equipment used in sucker rod and tubing operations, including rod sockets, rod hooks, elevators, rod wrenches, spinners, paraffin knives, and related accessories.

Trico™ sucker rod sockets are used for fishing rod body breaks and sucker rod couplings.

• Type B Sleeve-Type Sockets are used to catch rod breaks and specific coupling sizes.

• Reversible Type Sockets can catch both rods and couplings using reversible slip units.

• Little Giant Sockets are combination slip sockets commonly used for fishing rod breaks inside tubing and can also be used as rod splicers.

Yes. Trico™ rod sockets are designed with API connections and many components are interchangeable with industry-standard systems.

Ultra Max™ rod hooks are engineered for high-load sucker rod handling operations. They feature a locking latch mechanism designed to improve safety and prevent accidental release under load.

Trico™ rod hooks are available with load capacities up to 75,000 lb (37.5 tons), depending on the model. All hooks are designed for demanding oilfield operations.

Trico™ lifting equipment includes features such as:

• Locking or snap-in latch mechanisms

• Enclosed latch springs to prevent fouling

• Load testing at 1.5× working load

• Designs intended to minimize shock loading on rod threads

Trico™ rod elevators are used for lifting and handling sucker rods and polished rods during well servicing operations. They are available in plate-style, solid-body, and polished-rod configurations.

Yes. Trico™ elevators are load tested and designed for use in harsh conditions, including low-temperature environments (down to approximately -46°C, depending on model).

Yes. Trico™ products are tested and assembled in North America using quality-controlled processes, with load testing and inspections performed prior to release.
